INTRODUCTION
For over a decade, Cheyenne Brickner has been a marching percussion instructor, visual technician, judge, and clinician for high schools across Illinois. Her teaching experience ranges from classical to world percussion. She is currently the Percussion Assistant for Eastern Music Camp where she teaches masterclasses, sectionals, and the junior high Afro-Caribbean Drumming class. Cheyenne was also the World Percussion Teaching Assistant at the International Music Camp in North Dakota.
Some notable groups Cheyenne has performed with include the Danville Symphony Orchestra, Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra, Heartland Festival Orchestra, and Third Coast Percussion.

​Cheyenne is currently a professor at Lake Land College and the drumline instructor for Eastern Illinois' Panther Marching Band, as well as several high school groups. She continues to be a freelance educator and performer in the Central Illinois area.
​Cheyenne received her B.M. and M.A. in Percussion Performance from Eastern Illinois University.
