- Dr. William Butler Physics Scholarship
- Applicant may be a high school senior accepted to EIU or EIU freshman or sophomore majoring in Physics.
- Christos & Theodora Efstathiou Scholarship
- Awarded to the Physics Major with the highest Physics GPA at completion of his/her first year of study.
- Jesusa Valdez Kinderman Scholarship
- Preference is given to a minority or female Physics major, but not the sole deciding factor.
- Glenn Lefler Physics Scholarship
- Applicant must be an EIU junior or senior majoring in Physics.
- Michael A. Scott Memorial Fund
- Applicant must be an EIU junior or senior majoring in Physics.
- Irvin L. Sparks Memorial Scholarship
- Applicant may be a high school senior or an EIU freshman or sophomore majoring in Physics.
- Dr. Henry A. Taitt Physics Scholarship
- Applicant must be majoring in Science with Teacher Certification, Physics Specialization.
- S.L. Nanda Mathematics and Science Scholarship
- Applicant must be a Charleston High School graduate majoring in Biological Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Computer Sciences or any of the aforementioned majors with teacher certification.
Physics Department Prize
- Robert C. Waddell and Leyla Peck Waddell Prize
- This prize is awarded to the Physics major with the highest grade point average entering his or her junior year.
