CRITERIA INFORMATION ON HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL AND GUIDELINES
Areas of Special emphasis for concurrent sessions:
- Multicultural Issues
- Exploring Racism
- LGBT and Gender Equity
- Race and Ethnicity Research
- Intersection of Race & Class issues
TIME FORMATS AVAILABLE
Concurrent sessions will have a time format of 50 minutes. Presenters should select a realistic time format and take into consideration the material that needs to be covered in the time. If you would like to present more than once, please indicate on the proposal form.
GUIDELINES FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of relevance to the theme, tracks, and interest to the audience (STUDENTS).

- Category of Presentation – select the one category (from the categories above) that most accurately characterizes your topic
- Name of Presenter(s) – Exactly as you want it printed in the program booklet
- Job Title of Presenter
- Institution/Organizational Affiliation
- Complete mailing address
- Office Telephone and Fax Number
- E-mail Address
- Work Telephone Number
- Audio/Visual Requirements: (Please think about these requirements carefully and other essential equipment.)

- Abstract: A single-spaced abstract of 50 words or less to be used in the program booklet.
SUBMISSION AND NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE
Complete proposals must be received no later than January 4, 2013.
Presenters will be notified of proposal acceptance by January 11, 2013.
