Dining Dollars 
Students can use their Dining Dollars to purchase meals/items in any of the four Panther Dining Centers, Thomas Convenience Center, Food Court, and Java B & B. Dining Dollars are good for the entire academic year, provide a 20% discount off the cash/guest meal price in the dining centers, and allow for purchases at the Thomas Convenience Center, Food Court and Java B & B.
You may purchase dining dollars for yourself by coming to the Housing & Dining Office located in the Martin Luther King Jr. Union. The minimum Dining Dollar purchase is only $50.00, payable by money order, personal check or by charging your Dining Dollars to your EIU account. Your Panther Card is needed at the time of purchase.
Dining Dollars are good for one year. Any unused dining dollars purchased during the fall semester roll over and are added to your account for the spring semester. All dining dollars expire at the end of the spring semester, unless you purchase a summer meal plan, in which case they unused amount rolls over to the summer and expire at the end of the summer session.
