Advisor Information
If you need help with course selection, portfolio development, or any other aspect of the Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS) program, our advisors are here to support you. The IDS advising team is dedicated to helping you succeed and is available to assist you throughout your academic journey. You can connect with your advisor via email, webcam, phone, or in-person meetings.
- Dr. Kim Redfern has been with the IDS program since 2003. She serves as the office professional and manages Prior Learning Assessment for all IDS students. Kim is available on the main campus weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. She can be reached at karedfern2@eiu.edu or 217-581-5618.
