The recipient(s) of the Reading Council Scholarship shall be of junior or senior level status, be majoring in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education or Middle Level Education and shall have a GPA of at least 3.0. The selected recipient(s) shall be dedicated to teaching, demonstrate outstanding character and be a member of the Reading Council. Financial need must be shown. The selected recipient(s) must be present to recieve the award at the Reading Council meeting. Applications will become available beginning December 1st.
