Description
The recipient shall be a full-time undergraduate student or a full-time/part-time graduate student, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The undergraduate recipient shall major in accounting or in family & consumer sciences with an option in family services, dietetics, hospitality management in even-numbered fiscal years, or shall be an education major in odd-numbered fiscal years. The undergraduate recipient shall hold a high school diploma from the Cowden, Shelbyville, or Salem, IL high schools or a successor school system. The graduate recipient shall hold a full-time faculty appointment with the Cowden, Salem, or Shelbyville, IL schools or successor school system. The graduate recipients must be enrolled in a graduate program within the Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences (MBA or Family & Consumer Science majors) in even-numbered fiscal years or the College of Education and Professional Studies in odd-numbered fiscal years. Financial need is not a consideration. All award recipients shall have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
