Eastern Illinois Concert Band
The Eastern Illinois University Concert Band consists of 60–70 musicians and is a non-auditioned ensemble in the fall semester, and an auditioned ensemble in the spring semester. While the majority of members are music majors, the group also attracts talented musicians from a variety of academic disciplines across campus. The Concert Band is designed to create a high quality musical experience for music majors and non-music majors alike. The ensemble performs traditional standard and contemporary band repertoire while providing a platform to teach rehearsal techniques for the benefit of future music educators.
