The ICGD initiatives:
- Service Learning i.e., educational experience in which students participate in an organized service activity that meets identified community needs and reflect on the service activity in such away as to gain further understanding of the course content. It also helps students to understand the nature of the problems they seek to address and engages them in appropriate service strategies which has the potential for transforming society.
- Speakers/Forums and conferences i.e., providing a venue where issues and ideas that pertain to our contemporary global society are discussed.
- Interdisciplinary Teaching i.e., teaching which explores different ways of viewing the world, spanning a range of disciplines. And provides students with a well-rounded education and extensive knowledge in a variety of subjects, study, research, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and other skills that are important in a wide variety of career paths.
- Educational and Cultural Programs i.e., programs that enhance educational cooperation among countries and understanding between cultures. Focus will be on the promotion of study abroad, national students exchange (domestic), scholars exchange, internships (domestic & international), practicum and cultural programs.
