Win Stuff Night to return to Lantz Arena in January

Win a guaranteed single room upgrade valued at $1,700

November 17, 2011

University Housing & Dining Service’s annual On-Campus Resident Appreciation Night will return to EIU’s Lantz Arena on Jan. 19, 2012.

The event, held in conjunction with the EIU versus Tennessee State basketball game, is a way of providing a night of fun and prizes to those students who have chosen and continue to choose to live on campus. The event’s theme, “WIN STUFF”, is as appropriate as it is brief. Throughout the game, EIU’s University Housing & Dining Services will be giving away a number of prizes including a 2012-2013 Single Room Upgrade good for the residence halls or Greek Court. The single room upgrade guarantees the recipient a single room for the 2012-2013 academic year at the same price as a regular double room -  an estimated value of $1,700.

Other prizes include a series of oversized gift baskets from Panther Catering. The EIU Cheer Team will also be throwing t-shirts and food court related gift cards into the stands during the games.

The game begins at 7 p.m. Attendance to the game is free for all EIU students.

In order to be eligible for prize consideration individuals must: (1) live in university-operated housing, (2) pick up a prize ticket in the southeast balcony of Lantz Arena during the game on Jan. 19, 2012, (3) be present at the time of the drawing(s), (4) be enrolled in a minimum of a one-hour credit course, and (5) be able to produce a student identification card (i.e., Panther Card) at the time the prize ticket or any related winnings are obtained. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
