President Doudna Memorial Scholarship, Margaret Schmidt Memorial Scholarship, and John L. Whisnand Scholarship
The following scholarships are open to all qualified students at Eastern Illinois University.
Applications are open the first day of Fall semester and are due no later than 12-noon on Friday, 28 September.
President Doudna Memorial Scholarship
Preference shall be given to students graduating from Illinois high schools. Recipients must have maintained a 3.0 out of 4.0 or better average in high school course work.
Applicants must be a freshman (< 30 credit hours earned) at the time of the award.
The award is non-renewable to the same individual more than once.
Margaret Schmidt Memorial Scholarship
The recipient must be a full time student, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must show academic achievement.
Applicants may be Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, or Seniors.
The award is non-renewable to the same individual more than once.
The scholarship recipient shall be a student at EIU, in good standing, with a minimum of one year to complete in order to receive a Bachelors Degree. The recipient shall be a person of outstanding character whose actions and conduct reflect with credit upon EIU. Financial need is a consideration.
Applicants may be Freshmen, Sophomores, or Juniors.
The award is non-renewable to the same individual more than once.
