Available Graduate Assistantships
The Eastern Illinois University Health Service offers several graduate assistantships through its Health Education Resource Center and the Illinois Higher Education Center. Individuals selected for these positions assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health education and promotion programs, presentations, and interventions. As a result of serving the Health Service for 19.5 hours a week, they in turn receive a monthly stipend of $870 plus a tuition waiver.

NOTE: All materials except EIU Graduate Assistantship Application must be submitted to the HERC, even if materials have been submitted to other programs/departments. All materials, besides the EIU Graduate School GA Application, MUST be submitted electronically using the graduate assistantship application portal below.

Please be aware of the following requirements.
- Standard cover letter
- Three names of references
- At least one letter of recommendation
- Unofficial academic transcripts
- Remember to complete the EIU Graduate School Graduate Assistant Application. This DOES NOT have to be turned into the HERC.
