Amanda J. Woolard is the Assistant Director for Health Education & Promotion at the Health Education Resource Center (HERC). Amanda attended Eastern Illinois University and received a Bachelor of Science in health studies and a Bachelor of Art in psychology. Amanda recently received a Master of Science degree in family and consumer sciences, also from Eastern Illinois University.

While going through school, Amanda was a member of Eta Sigma Gamma, Kappa Omicron Nu, Tobacco Coalition, Colleges Against Cancer, and the Health Service Advisory Board. In addition, she was a member of the American College Health Association, American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, and the Illinois Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. In Amanda’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, and spending time outside (especially during the fall)!
