Dr. Karla Kennedy-Hagan, associate professor of family and consumer sciences, is the current coordinator of graduate study for the Master of Science in Dietetics program.

Dr. Kennedy-Hagan’s teaching and research interests focus on food, dietetics and health. Dr. Kennedy-Hagan received her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management, with a focus on adult education from the University of Illinois in 2004.

Admission to the master of science in dietetics graduate program requires an application to The Graduate School, an undergraduate degree in nutrition/dietetics, a verification statement from your undergraduate program and a match with Eastern Illinois University through D&D Digital. Students that are not matched with the program can apply to Eastern Illinois University, to obtain a master degree in family and consumer sciences.
