Greetings EIU Student,
We are EXCITED! Eastern Illinois University will be sponsoring a
Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) Tour to be held this
summer (Sunday, June 2 – Friday, June 7, 2013).
This tour will consist of the following:
- (1) Week tour
- Cultural Enrichment (King Monument in Washington, DC)
- Visits to the following institutions
Winston-Salem State University
North Carolina A&T University
Bennet College for Women
Norfolk State University
Hampton University
Virginia State University
Howard University
Wilberforce University
Central State University
- Special tours of (2) Historically Black Sorority National Headquarters –
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. & Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
- 13 meals included out of 15 meals
- Snacks on the bus
The cost for the tour will vary depending on the bus occupancy
- $610.00 plus tuition (50 participants)
- $725.00 plus tuition (35 participants)
***Cost includes everything listed above with the exception of tuition
Deposit for this trip is $200.00 due April 1, 2013
